Woohoo, it’s bath night!

Bathtime is a favorite in my household for two reasons – one, it allows me to sit down for a minute while she plays, and two, my toddler loves it!

Bath time is one of the only things that can keep my little occupied for longer than a few minutes.

I’m sure she would play in there for an hour if I’d let her!

At this stage, unless she is dirty, we only do bath time (with soap) every other day for a few different reasons (which I will get into in another post), so stay tuned for that!

But for now, I will be sharing our all-time favorite bath toys that make bath time oh so much fun! I’ll also tag their links below!

1. Bath Whale Sprinkler

You guys, this is the best, cutest bath toy! I have gifted this to friends/family who have littles so many times. This cute little whale sprinkler shoots water out the top and even lights up! This bath toy does not take batteries but has a charger with a flap over the port that seals it very well so no water can get in. No worries about rusty batteries here! Once charged, it lasts us a few baths so the battery life is pretty decent. My tot has been playing with this bath toy for about a year now and it has been holding up very well. This toy would be super fun in a pool or water table as well, so this cute little whale doesn’t have to stop at bath time!

You can purchase this bath whale sprinkler on Amazon.

2. Nontoxic Bath Crayons/Paints

This is the perfect time for your kiddo to be Picasso – right where they are washing up in the tub! This is an ingenious invention that I know so many parents and kids of all ages love. Your child can draw their little heart out right in the bath and believe me, this keeps them busy! Most kids already love water, but pair it with coloring – take my money! And you know here at Happy Moms Club, we love products that are nontoxic, and luckily there are so many brands that offer this option now! Gone are the days (mostly) where you have to pay an arm and a leg or compromise quality to get good-for-you products for your kids. Now, good-for-you foods? That’s a whole other can of worms. And speaking of worms…

We LOVE these bath crayons by Honeysticks that are made from natural beeswax and are nontoxic!

3. Fishin’ Magnetic Bath Toy

Let’s pack up the picnic basket and grab the bug spray because we are going fishing! Yep, you heard that right, what a fun addition to any bath, pool, or water table! Now your kiddo can go fishing in the comfort of your own home. This adorable toy is great for enhancing hand-eye coordination and helping them to understand cause and effect, too! One of the best features is that the reel makes clicking sounds making it feel more life-like to your little. This is a great toy for boys and girls alike, and definitely a hit in any toddler household. And the best part? It’s magnetic, so no hooks or worms required!

4. Floating Octopus with Hoopla Rings

This cute Octopus floats on top of the bath water and has 3 little rings that fit onto its tentacles. This is a great toy to improve fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and encourages interactive play. My little tot loves to play games by placing the rings on the tentacles but we love to use it as a learning tool too by counting the rings! At our house, I’m sure in no time, the placing will become tossing! So this can be a toy that grows with your kiddo too. This bath toy is durable and easy to clean and we use it in the pool and water table as well!

You can find the adorable purple octopus on Amazon here.

5. Tiny Buckets and a Watering Can

Going back to the basics with this combo. My toddler has loved these simple toys in the bath since she was about 1 year old. She dumps and refills them both over and over. She has fun dumping water on herself and she loves the sprinkling of the watering can. You really can’t go wrong with this classic duo which adds endless fun to any bath time, pool, or water table. Sometimes for toddlers, the more simple, the better!

We love these bath buckets and this cute little watering can both from Amazon!

Bathtime is something enjoyed by babies, toddlers, and adults alike.2-year-old bath toys

And for good reason!

As a mama I find so much joy in watching the simplicity of my toddler splashing around, it’s truly refreshing!

Providing the best toys for our kiddo’s enjoyment and learning is important, even if you are just bringing it back to the basics.

Things don’t have to be complicated to be great learning tools and be FUN!

I would love to hear some of your littles favorite bath time toys to add to our bath time repertoire!

XOXO,

Katie
